LES LIBRARY NEWS
Our library continues to grow and change into a STEAM library thanks to your children and their suggestions. We will soon be setting up a weather station in our library!
We have a growing selection of books that compliment
our curriculum and student interests. As your children bring books home, please check in with them to see what they are reading. Making sure it is a match for your child is important and conversations about books is a wonderful way to encourage your child to be a reader.
Check out our "Support Our Library" page. The children have discovered new authors, series and titles that they wish were in our library. If you would like to purchase a wish list book as a gift, in honor or memory of someone or simply because books make you happy, you can find their list on the Support Our Library page. Forms are available on-line or in the library. Please make sure you fill out the information so that I can put a bookplate inside the book. :)
At the LES Library Media Center, students will be encouraged to explore the world around them through exciting literature and literacy activities. Our goal is that by developing a love of literature, students will become critical thinkers and life long lovers of books and learning.
